Annie Armstrong  Annie Armstrong Easter Offering supports the efforts of the North American Mission Board’s Send North America strategy to send missionaries and church planters to spread the Good News of the Gospel throughout the United States and Canada.

Ducktown   Ducktown Mission Trip Bethlehem Baptist Church Youth I and II join with East Commerce Baptist to assist in an ongoing ministry in East Tennessee. Home repairs and clothing distribution needs are addressed by teams of youth and adults children.

Fifth Sunday Offering Fifth Sunday Offering is a special offering received every fifth Sunday to help ‘church members’ who are experiencing financial need. Small amounts of cash are given to help pay for medicine, gas, rent, clothing, etc.  Sometimes funds are used for other assistance such as: purchasing Christmas presents for church members needing crisis intervention or helping fund summer camp for our youth.

Fourth Sunday Prayer Fourth Sunday School Group Prayer is a special time of prayer for our country, specific troubles around the world and our own efforts as a body of believers. It happens fourth Sunday at 10 AM.  It is an opportunity to agree in prayer as we gather together in our Sunday School Classes.

 Hopetown Food Ministry provides groceries to help families or singles with a crisis need for food in partnership with Hopetown.

In His Image In His Image Pregnancy Resource Center located in Lewisburg is a pro-life and Christian ministry that exists to bring hope, care and support to women and families experiencing crisis pregnancies. By receiving free information, goods, services, referrals, and confidential counseling in a Christian atmosphere every woman can realize that she and the life she carries are made in His image. In His Image runs on donations alone.

Participate: *Contribute to the Mother’s Day baby bottle fundraiser. (The agency provides baby bottles.On Mother’s Day our members begin filling the bottles with dollars and change . Bottles are returned on Father’s Day.)  *Attend the annual dinner fundraiser. *Volunteer for the center.

 Haven of Hope Haven of Hope in Lewisburg is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that provides help for people dealing with domestic abuse.

Participate: *Volunteer your time *Donate needed goods     * Give financial support to one of their funds

Junior's House Junior’s House in Lewisburg is a non-profit Child Advocacy Center. They help provide protection for children of abuse and child witnesses of crime. They are a source of information for everyone in the community interested in the welfare of our children.

Lottie Moon Lottie Moon Christmas Offering enables misionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

Oasis Women's Group Oasis Women’s Group gathers 10 AM – 12:00 PM on Thursdays. Oasis is a place where there is freedom to be one’s self and to share in confidence with other women. We pray, study, learn, share and minister together.

Southern Baptist Relief Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief in combination with the Red Cross and Salvation Army works in disasters nation-wide. State-based volunteers clean up and bring the healing of Christ to those whose lives have been shattered. The ultimate goal is to “reach people,” whether that be disaster victims or volunteers.

Summer Camp Summer Camp Ministry Thanks to this ministry every youth who wants to go to camp can go to camp without financial strain on their family. Young people participate in fund raisers planned by the youth committee during the year. The program helps them learn to earn money and find interesting ways to pay their way to camp. Youth Mission
Youth I Mission accepted the challenge of making handmade cards for Willowbrook Hospice in Shelbyville. Cards are made weekly, collected and delivered monthly. The youth enjoy creating, and we’re told that the recipients enjoy being remembered.

Vet 2 Vet Vet 2 Vet Program Bethlehem Baptist Church offers a loving, welcoming environment of acceptance for veterans and their families. We help promote awareness of and minister to the needs of those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

 

Participate: *Reach out and make our veteran’s feel welcome. *Be willing to join in and help them meet their struggles. *Take the Bridges training and be equipped to minister.
